The new update Cold Snap continues to shake up the universeArc Raidersthe futuristic online shooter developed by Embark Studios. This time, the developers have found an original way to please players: to offer an exclusive skin Red Ryder… provided you take a little detour through another of their games.
This new free cosmetic – a red version of the Ryder outfit – allows you to further personalize your character and display a bold look. The marketing operation is clever: it connects communities of The Finals And Arc Raiderstwo free-to-play titles from the same publisher.
How to unlock the Red Ryder skin
The method is extremely simple: you just need to play three games of The Finals with the same Embark account than the one used for Arc Raiders. Once these three matches are completed, the skin is automatically credited in your Arc Raiders inventory. “Once these accounts are linked, completing all three matches of The Finals will allow you to automatically obtain the Red Ryder skin in Arc Raiders”
If you have never launched The Finalsa quick tutorial will be offered to you. But the whole operation will only take you one to two hours maximum. Please note, however: there is no guarantee that this offer is permanent. Better then don’t wait too long before taking on the challenge.
Three bonus cosmetics unlocked
In addition to the Red Ryder outfit, Embark offers two other exclusive items for players who complete the three required games:
- The Salvager backpack (black color)
- A “ticket for the football final” key ring
These elements can be equipped together or separatelyvia the game menu: Raider > Customization > Style. A dream opportunity to redo the complete look of your character and to distinguish themselves on mission. “You can equip all of these new items at once or combine them with other cosmetic items you already own”
