The publisher KSM Anime recently announced that the anime classic “Robin Hood” will soon be released in a Blu-ray complete box. We summarize all the details below.
Release in August 2026
The complete box set of “Robin Hood” is expected to be released on Blu-ray on August 20, 2026. This includes all 52 episodes as well as the corresponding film in German and Japanese. As an extra there is a picture gallery and trailer.
The studio Tatsunoko Production was responsible for producing the series, which was previously only available on DVD, with Kouichi Mashimo (“Blade of the Immortal”) taking over the position of director.
The Japanese premiere took place between July 29, 1990 and October 28, 1992. In this country, the anime celebrated its premiere in April 1995 with German dubbing on the free TV channel RTL ZWEI.
