After a break of more than three years, the light novel series “No Game No Life” is back with a new volume – accompanied by a trailer. We summarize.
Trailer with anime voice
A few days ago, the 13th volume of Yu Kamiya’s popular “No Game No Life” series was published in Japan, continuing the story for the first time since the previous volume was published in February 2023.
The light novel release is accompanied by a new trailer, which should trigger a feeling of nostalgia, especially among fans of the anime. Because the announcement is spoken by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka – the voice of Sora from the anime.
Whether the choice of voice actor has a deeper meaning, particularly in relation to the wildly popular anime adaptation, remains to be seen. However, this is a very sensitive topic, after all, fans have been waiting a proud twelve years for a sequel – and unfortunately there is no end in sight to this period of suffering.
The twelve-part anime adaptation of “No Game No Life” was shown on Japanese television in the spring 2014 season and is available on DVD and Blu-ray in this country together with the prequel film “No Game No Life Zero” from KSM Anime.
