When will the next State of Play take place?
The next State of Play will therefore take place this Thursday, February 12 at 11 p.m.Paris time. The Europeans are unfortunately still poorly housed, especially since they will have to stay up late to stay until the end of this State of Play, given that it will last more than an hour.
Sony has not specified which games will be highlighted here, even if the manufacturer already promises us that there will be a little bit of everything: independent games, games from third-party publishers, and even games from PlayStation Studios. Which explains why this show will last 60 minutes.
What to expect from State of Play?
First, we can bet that we won’t cut to presentations of games that will arrive in a few weeks, like Saros, 007: First Light or even Resident Evil Requiemsince the latter never misses an opportunity to show off. More uncertain, we also wonder if this is not the time for Square Enix to unveil certain expected projects, like Kingdom Hearts IV which is the subject of many rumors at the moment, or a more likely one Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 (yes, we have hope).
On the PlayStation Studios side, the presence of Marvel’s Wolverine still remains uncertain even if the game is planned for this year, given that we instead see Sony granting it its own State of Play. Are we going to revisit some forgotten projects like Fairgames ? Nothing is less certain. And if this State of Play will keep us awake for a little while, it’s perhaps because Sony has to talk to us again about the update of the PS5 Pro, whose promises of improvements are starting to date.
But you know, the most important thing with this kind of program is not to draw plans for the comet (unlike what we have just done), and not to expect anything. See you Thursday evening to hope to be surprised.
