A demo available February 19 on Steam
Wishing to offer us a dark and modern reinterpretation of the Divine Comedythe most famous 14th century work created by the Italian poet Dante Alighieri, this adventure game in 1st person view will put us in the shoes of Gabriele Alighieri, a man presented as “crushed by the weight of an inheritance he never asked for”. Indeed, after having spent a large part of his life fleeing his destiny, he is forced to return to the ancestral home of his lineage in order to perform the Ritual which will protect his family and the world from the horrors locked in the Underworld.
On the gameplay side, the title will integrate an experience mainly focused on storytelling, exploration and atmosphere, and above all devoid of combat. In order to keep the gates of Hell locked, we will have to recover the lost magical pages of the Divine Comedyby solving esoteric puzzles through two realities: Villa Alighieri and “the Plunge”, a strange dimension whose threshold takes us into “a distorted reflection of the infernal depths”.
The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline will arrive at an as yet unknown date on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
