It only took a screenshot and a few guesses on Reddit for the GTA 6 community to ignite. According to some players, Rockstar Games has already introduced, unintentionally, one of the most annoying features of the future opus. The point of tension? The Keys Bridge, an imposing structure connecting several areas of the supposed map.
It all started with a post published on the GTA 6 subreddit by a user named Erin_-M. His theory: this bridge will become a nightmare for players who miss a turn. “I’ll say it right now, the Keys Bridge will be the most annoying part of the game when your car falls over and you have to swim to shore.”
Players already resigned… or mocking
The response was not long in coming. Other users added comments, oscillating between humor and resignation. NYCRaverNeon points out another frustrating detail: “And if you ask for a car on the bridge, it’s available two islands away 😂😂”
Another player, CornCobMcGee, tries to put things into perspective with a touch of local realism: “Luckily, if this bridge is like any other in the South, there are always at least two fishermen in a boat.” While method__Dan points out that difficulty might just be part of the game: “I think if you drive your car off a bridge, it’s supposed to be annoying. Kind of like flipping your car used to be.”
The black humor of fans has no limits
Some players, instead of fleeing this cursed bridge, are already considering using it to their advantage, starting with Open_Law_3334: “It would be fun to push the others off this bridge, it reminds me a bit of the broken Alderney bridge in GTA 4.” Enough to recall the dark – and funny – hours of multiplayer sessions of the past. Far_Adeptness9884, more pragmatic, advises: “Drive straight, man.”
The wait around the game, whose release has been postponed to November 19, 2026, fuels constant hype, but also enormous pressure on Rockstar Games. Each leak, each rumor is dissected as if it were an official revelation.
Elon Musk, GTA and the limits of gaming
Even public figures get involved. During a podcast with Nikhil Kamath, Elon Musk explained why he won’t play GTA 6. An unexpected and unfiltered statement: “I only played a little bit of GTA because I didn’t like the fact that… in GTA 5, you literally can’t advance without killing the police officers.”
The billionaire continues: “And I said to myself ‘that doesn’t suit me’. I don’t really like killing NPCs in video games. It’s not my thing.” And added, categorically: “I stopped when the game told me that the only way to move forward was to shoot the police. I thought ‘I don’t want to do that’.”
