A little Control, a little Genshin, a little GTA…
You have to see this first great video of Varsapura as a note of intention. HoYoverse delivers here a demo of more than half an hour of gameplay for this enigmatic titlewhere we see a rather contemporary mode with an organization at the heart of strange events.
The atmosphere is a little more “horrific” than the studio’s other games, even if that’s a big word. Let’s rather say an atmosphere like Controlsince lots of elements remind us of Remedy’s game here (even the mention of an “Office”). The gameplay is closer to what we know from HoYoverse, with a special skill for the character, as well as an ultimate attack.
Infiltration phases are visibly planned, as well as choice dialogues that are a little more “RPG” than usual.e, via responses that clearly indicate an emotion to convey. Add to that an open world with a city that can be explored by car. From there to talking about GTA-like, there is only one stepwhich many will cross.
HoYoverse’s goal is also to recruit a bunch of people to work on this project, as we see at the very end of the video with the list of offers available within the studios based in Shanghai, Los Angeles and Singapore. Understand by this that this project will arrive in a while, since no date has been announced, nor even platforms.
