Pokémon Pokopia will be released in March 2026 on Switch 2, and on a Game-Key Card

When will Pokémon Pokopia be released?

The Pokémon Company and Nintendo could have kept the suspense surrounding the release date of Pokémon Pokopia until the release of a new video, but they decided otherwise. The duo announces that Pokémon Pokopia will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 5, 2026which should greatly boost the manufacturer’s results just before the end of the fiscal year, and help it achieve its new sales target for its console.

If you want to know a little more about this game, take note the date of November 13, since at 3 p.m. (Paris time), a new trailer for Pokémon Pokopia will be broadcast. Before that, Nintendo confirmed that the game will indeed be entitled to a physical edition, or almost.

This will be a Game-Key Carda format which is not the most popular among the public, but which will undoubtedly not have much impact on a release such as this one. And besides, Nintendo is taking advantage of this announcement to upload a video explaining how Game-Key Cards work. As a reminder, these versions do contain a cartridge, but it requires a mandatory download to be able to enjoy the game. Suffice it to say that the comments under this video are not the most positive.
