With the release of Season 1, Battlefield 6 enters a new phase of its lifecycle. To mark the event, Electronic Arts and DICE launched REDSECa free Battle Royale mode integrated directly into the game. An ambitious bet in a saturated market, but which is accompanied by an interesting gesture for the community: a series of free content to unlock via Twitch.
This operation is aimed at both curious new players and veterans, since it is not even necessary to participate in REDSEC games to benefit from the bonuses. You just have to watch the right streams at the right time, and wait a little to receive your rewards. A well-established system, now familiar to those accustomed to Twitch Drops.
Twitch Drops Battlefield 6: How to Unlock Them in a Few Steps
The promotional campaign was launched on October 28, 2025, in the wake of REDSEC. It remains active until November 5 at 8:59 a.m. French timedate on which all bonuses will be deactivated. After this period, it will no longer be possible to obtain the rewards.
To benefit from it, here are the steps to follow:
- Link your Twitch account to your EA/Battlefield 6 account (via the official EA page).
- Go to Twitch in the category Battlefield 6.
- Select a live with the tag [DROPS] in the title.
- Watch this stream for a specific duration, depending on the desired bonus.
- Claim the rewards in the Twitch inventory then find them in-game, on PS5, Xbox Series or PC.
“It is nevertheless possible to recover various exclusive free content without even having to play,” specify the organizers. This clarification is aimed in particular at players put off by Battle Royale gameplay, but who still wish to enrich their collection of in-game objects.
Details of rewards available until November 5
Four cosmetic items are affected by the event. They cover several categories: vehicle appearance, soldier skin, weapon pack and decorative accessory. Here are the levels of achievement:
- 1 hour of viewing : sticker Hitchhiking to stick on vehicles.
- 2 hours :skin Marauder for CV90 armored vehicles.
- 3 hours : weapon pack P18 Highland Hunter with exclusive design.
- 4 hours : NATO military uniform No Mercyreserved for soldiers.
Each level unlocked is cumulative. Watching a stream for four hours in a row allows you to collect all the bonuses in a single session.
“Once enough time has been spent on a partner stream, rewards based on watch time will be waiting for you in-game on the platform of your choice,” confirms the campaign. An incentive system, used by many publishers to strengthen community engagement, especially during launch phases.
