PS Plus offers an exclusive bonus to subscribers, don’t waste time

A gift… provided you have the right console. PlayStation Plus subscribers have just discovered a rather generous surprise on the PlayStation Store: a complete pack for Battlefield 6, valued at €19.99, is now available without additional costs. At a time when season 1 of Electronic Arts’ FPS is in full swing with the launch of its REDSEC Battle Royale mode, this gesture from Sony is timely to reward the loyalty of its subscribers.

But be careful, this advantageous offer is not available for everyone. Here’s everything you need to know to take advantage of it… or understand why you’re not entitled to it.

A complete pack to collect for free for subscribed PS5 players

The pack in question, called “Rebel Operations”contains twelve cosmetic items, ranging from soldier skin to weapon accessories to vehicle customizations. This is high-end visual content, intended to mark players on the battlefield.

Here is the full content of the pack:

  • “Dive into the Shadows” Assault Trooper Skin
  • “Zero limits” badge
  • “Target Spotted” Background
  • Weapon pendant “Amplified”
  • “Lead Rain” plaque
  • Vehicle sticker “Aggressive tactics”
  • “Night Raid” vehicle skin for the UH-79
  • Weapon sticker “Ready to kill”
  • Parachute “Ophidian”
  • “Arctic Reign” Weapon Pack for the L110
  • “Sudden Death” weapon pack for the P18

Content that allows players to distinguish themselves online from the first games, without having to go to the store or take out their credit card.

A PS Plus exclusive… but especially PS5

What makes this offer even more unique is that it is exclusively reserved for PlayStation Plus subscribers. As the official page states, players with an active subscription can grab the pack for free from PlayStation Store.

On the other hand, it is impossible to buy it directly on PS5 without a subscriptionmaking it a true PS Plus exclusive. Neither non-subscribed players nor those on other platforms can access it for free.

Even worse for Xbox and PC players: if they want to get the same pack, they will have to pay €19.99 in the corresponding stores. An inequality that does not go unnoticed on the networks, where several users point out the lack of parity between ecosystems.

No end date announced, better not to delay

Currently, Sony has not communicated a deadline for this offer. This means that it could disappear from the PlayStation Store at any time, without warning. Interested PS Plus subscribers are therefore recommended to get it back quickly.

The procedure is simple:

  1. Log in with an active PSN account that has PS Plus.
  2. Search for “Rebel Operations” on the PlayStation Store.
  3. Add the pack to your library or download it.
  4. Launch Battlefield 6 to enjoy the content immediately.

A strategic boost for REDSEC and PS Plus

The arrival of this pack comes at a strategic moment: season 1 of Battlefield 6 has just started, including REDSECa free Battle Royale mode that seeks to appeal to thrill-seekers. Offering a premium skin pack for free to PS Plus subscribers may entice many players to test the game or to extend their subscription to take advantage of it.

This type of initiative is not new, but it remains effective. By focusing on exclusivity and perceived value, Sony is playing on a double lever: promoting the PS Plus while supporting the launch of a flagship multiplayer mode from the Electronic Arts catalog.
