Xbox is offering 7 big free games this weekend, no subscription required



Like every week, Microsoft relaunches its Free Play Daysoffering temporary access to a selection of games for Xbox Game Pass owners. But this first weekend of November goes further: certain titles are open to all Xbox players, even without subscription. The ideal opportunity to test some flagship licenses free of charge, from horror classics to free access Call of Duty.

Between the October 30 and November 2 at 8:59 a.m.you can play seven different titlesdivided between AAA games, notable indies and board game adaptations. Whether you like zombies, strategy or narrative universes, there’s something for everyone.

Call of Duty, Dragon Ball, Dead by Daylight… a muscular selection

The biggest name in the selection is obviously Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, accessible to all playerswith no subscription required. The game offers full access to multiplayer and Zombies mode, with over 40 maps, including the new Gravity, Mothball and Rig. Activision specifies that “this free trial includes the entire multiplayer mode” as well as “all six sleeved Zombies maps”, available until November 3.

Another must-have: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2action and role-playing game in the Toriyama universe. Create your avatar, face formidable enemies and train with the legends of the saga in frenetic online battles.

The atmosphere changes radically with Dead by Daylightperfect for prolonging the Halloween thrills. This asymmetrical multiplayer allows you to play as a killer or one of the survivors in a horrific, high-tension universe. The game offers a renewed experience through its numerous collaborations with cult licenses, from Resident Evil to The Walking Dead.

Narrative, strategic and horrific experiences

In a completely different register, Yes, Your Grace offers a blend of medieval management and storytelling. You play as King Eryk, caught in a whirlwind of grievances, difficult decisions and personal struggles. Accessible to all Xbox players, this title is based on a slower pace, but rich in crucial choices.

For strategy enthusiasts, CATAN transposes the famous board game onto console. Gain resources, expand your colonies and face your opponents on a deceptively peaceful island. Whether locally, online or facing AI, the challenge is significant.

Denser, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader immerses you in a space RPG from Owlcat Games. Lead a squad of six characters across the Koronus Expanse, battling tactical battles and making moral decisions in a world where the slightest misstep can be costly.

Finally, spotlight on Post Traumatrial limited to two hours, offered without subscription. You play a railway controller caught in a distorted and nightmarish reality. A tribute to the great classics of survival horror, perfect for a thrilling, intense… and short session.
