This was supposed to be a surprise later, but the Internet decided otherwise. According to several cross-leaks, including the essential TeraLeak which had already proven to be accurate when the game was launched, the upcoming DLC of Pokémon Legends: ZA will introduce no less than three legendary Mega Evolutions : Mega Darkrai, Mega Heatran And Mega Zeraora.
This information, supported by new data extracted directly from the game and updated descriptions from the Pokédex, also confirms that these developments would boost their total stats to 700against 600 currently, a gain of 100 points, faithful to the classic mechanics of Mega-Evolutions.
Three titans reimagined for chaos
The overhaul of the three legendary Pokémon is not limited to a few numbers. Each of them is given characteristics that are as impressive as they are formidable. According to the leaks:
- Mega Heatran could reach an internal temperature of 1.8 million degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mega Darkrai would be able to plunge the world into total darknessto the point of blocking sunlight.
- Mega Zeraorafor his part, would store the power of 10 lightning boltsa lightning concentrate of energy.
These descriptions accompany a complete rebalancing of their statistics, which give a clear offensive advantage to Zeraora (+45 in Attack, +45 in Special Attack), while Darkrai and Heatran gain in Special Defense, transforming their role into combat in a significant way.
A post-game DLC that could change everything
Baptized Mega-Dimension According to rumors, this DLC has still not been officially announced. However, pressure is mounting among the players. Many judge the post-game content of Pokémon Legends: ZA quite poor, limited to competitive clashes in the Infinite ZA Royale mode.
This additional content, if it turns out to be real, could therefore revive interest in the game by offering a new scripted exploration or quests centered around Mega-Evolution, a mechanic particularly appreciated since its introduction in Pokémon X/Y. Especially since other Mega Evolutions are cited in the leaks, including Raichu X and Y, Absol, Garchomp, Lucario or even Magearnasuggesting a massive return of this mechanic long absent from the latest titles.
If Nintendo follows its usual schedule, the announcement of this DLC could come in the first weeks of 2026. And with Pokémon as iconic as Darkrai or Zeraora at the forefront, fan expectations will only rise between now and then.
