In a few weeks Crunchyroll will be releasing a limited steelbook edition of the anime adaptation of “86 EIGHTY-SIX”. There are now new product images that you can see below.
Release in November 2025
The Steelbook complete box will be released as Blu-ray on November 7, 2025 and includes all episodes with German and Japanese voice acting as well as two art cards and 128 minutes of bonus material, which consists of special episodes, trailers, music videos and the opening and ending in the clean version.
The studio A-1 Pictures was responsible for the production of the 23-part drama series, which premiered on Japanese television between April 2021 and March 2022, and was directed by Toshimasa Ishii (“ERASED”).
The streaming provider Crunchyroll has the anime in full on demand and released a regular complete box last year, which is also available as a DVD version in addition to the Blu-ray version.
