Rockstar hasn’t officially announced anything, but all it takes is a number displayed on a watch to ignite the networks. While waiting endlessly for GTA 6, a new rumor fuels speculation: trailer 3 could be revealed… next November 8. The buzz started from a simple screenshot of Jason, one of the main characters of the game, where a very precise time is displayed: 11:08.
Between pixel analysisdecryption of the fiscal calendar and heated debates on the game price potentially set at $100fans oscillate between excitement and anger. While the release of GTA 6 has already been postponed until May 26, 2026each index takes on a disproportionate magnitude.
A watch, a date, a rumor that ignites
The account @GTAVI_Countdownwell known to the GTA community on According to them, this could indicate a date: November 8.
This day would coincide with the anniversary of the announcement of the very first trailer of GTA 6. A timing that seems far from trivial for fans. The same account specifies: “Rockstar Games may have announced the release date of the third GTA 6 trailer, as Jason’s digital watch shows a specific number ’11:08′ which points to November 8.”
Another clue: the next Take-Two conference callthe parent company of Rockstar, will take place November 6. However, since December 2023, each quarterly call contains at least one mention of the game. The hypothesis of a teaser before or just after this date therefore seems credible.
A hot debate over price: $100, really?
As speculation mounts about the next trailer, another topic is stirring the community: the price that GTA 6 could cost when it releases. Chris Stockman, former design director of the very first Saints Rowlaunched a widely commented statement: “I think GTA is the only one that can pull this off.”
In an interview with eSports Insider, he adds: “It would be a disaster if everyone tried to match them.” According to him, GTA 6 could very well be sold 100 dollarsand this would not be shocking, given his ambition. He insists: “The scope and scale of this production justify this price.”
An opinion that is not unanimous. On Reddit, the reactions are clear:
- “I hope it comes out and costs around $60, so no one buys the bad $100 games.”
- “Yes, but in my opinion, 100 dollars for ANY game is outrageous.”
Others point out that they would be willing to pay such a price only for exceptional games, citing Red Dead Redemption 2 as an example.
Rockstar maintains silence, fans decode everything
So far, Rockstar has not confirmed anything. No tweet, no official statement. But the studio’s strategy remains true to itself: distil the information little by little, create anticipation, and let the community bring up the sauce. And it works.
The fact that every trailer, every image, every visual element is dissected clearly shows the extent of the GTA 6 phenomenon. Since the announcement of its postponement to May 2026, players have been tracking the smallest detail.
If trailer 3 is scheduled for around November 8, Rockstar could also take advantage of it to open pre-ordersconfirm or deny the priceor even announce a collector’s edition. But in the meantime, it’s all speculation.
