This is a real turning point that Genshin Impact is about to take. On October 22, 2025, the famous free open-world RPG will welcome “Version Luna II, Song of the Welkin Moon: Reprise”a major update that will add a whole new social and creative dimension to the game’s already rich experience.
Available on PlayStation 5, PC and mobile, this update will notably introduce “Miliastra Wonderland”a new mode focused on user-generated content (UGC). A first for the game, which until now mainly focused on storytelling, exploration and combat in solo or limited cooperation.
Mini-games, management, PvP… everything becomes possible
In an interview with the PlayStation Blog, Zhenzhong Yitechnical director at HoYoverse, revealed the extent of these new features. He describes it thus: “This all-new UGC system lets you explore hundreds of imaginative levels created by other players. You can also customize your own Manekin or Manekina with unique styles.”
Players will be able to create their own scenarios, mini-games, adventure challenges, and even management simulations. A shift that transforms the game into real community platformwhere every player can participate as well as design.
Still according to Yi, the new lively social center will allow players to regroup before embarking on various activities:
“Hundreds of imaginative stages, from management simulations and board games to PvP battles and adventure challenges.”
A redesign that focuses on player creativity
With this update, Genshin Impact aligns with a strong trend in video games: giving players the keys to creation. While some are already hoping for the arrival of a dating simulation mode, others are especially looking forward to being able to rediscover the game world from new angles, with their friends.
By integrating exclusive rewards that can be used both in Miliastra Wonderland and in the main adventure, HoYoverse manages to connect its old narrative pillars to a more open and community dynamic. All that remains is to wait until October 22 to explore the community’s first creations… or imagine your own.
