GTA 6: confirmed sex scenes, but with a large limit

A series known to push the limits, but which seems to trace new ones. A leak broadcast on Reddit has just confirmed that GTA 6 will include sex scenes. Nothing surprising for a classified game +18, especially in a license that has already flirted with controversy. But this time, precise information divides the fans: these scenes will not include complete nudity.

An assumed return to adult content … but moderate

The origin of the leak comes from the Reddit user Theeternalgazedrelayed by Gameroll. According to his information, GTA 6 will contain many playable or scripted sexual sequences, but they will remain visually “limited”. The characters will remain partially dressed, without frontal or explicit nudity.

The news immediately sparked reactions, oscillating between sarcasm and disappointment. “Ruined game. I don’t want it anymore,” quips a user. “Bouuuh”, writes another, while a third comments with bitterness: “We cannot show the human body in our ultra-violent satire 18+, it’s too much.”

A saga marked by the scandal of “Hot Coffee”

This is not the first time that Grand Theft Auto Flirt with the borders of adult content. In 2004, GTA: San Andreas had been at the heart of the famous scandal Hot coffee : A sexual mini-game that has remained in game files, accessible via a mod. Although disabled by Rockstar, he had caused a global outcry and led to a temporary change in game classification.

Since then, the saga has always discussed sexuality with a form of distance: crude dialogues, explicit references, but relatively modest staging. This leak on GTA 6 seems to confirm that Rockstar remains faithful to this blurred line between provocation and restraint.

An release in May 2026 under high wait

Scheduled for May 26, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, GTA 6 will tell the story of Jason and Luciaa duo of criminals inspired by Bonnie and Clyde, evolving in a Modernized vice cityat the heart of the fictitious state of Leonida. The official synopsis plants the decor: “Vice City, United States. Jason and Lucia have always known that the dice were voted against them. But when an easy blow turns badly, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy which extends through Leonida’s state-forced to count on each other more than ever if they want to get out alive.”

A framework conducive to all tensions, both narrative and social. And if visual violence remains omnipresent in the license, the decision to Do not go as far as full nudityeven in intimate scenes, questions the current red lines of Rockstar-between commercial, satire and self-censorship strategy.
