New details about the upcoming series were announced today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Fall in Love, You False Angels” (Japanese: “Koiseyo Mayakashi Tenshi-domo”). You can find a first teaser below.

“Fall in Love, You False Angels” is directed by Yasutomo Okamoto (episode director for “Campfire Cooking”) at Studio MAPPA. Youhei Yamazaki is writing the script, while Mariko Oka (“Hell Girl”) is contributing character design and Takumi Hashimoto is art director.
The romance comedy series is scheduled to launch on Japanese television in 2027. A specific date is still pending. As usual, we will keep you up to date with any new information.
The underlying manga by Coco Uzuki has been published in “Dessert” magazine since April 2023. The work is available in this country under the title “False Angels, True Love?” from the publisher Altraverse with a German translation.
