A new teaser for the sequel, titled “Chainsaw Man: Assassins Arc,” was released today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Chainsaw Man.” You can find the video further down in this article.

With the “Assassins Arc” the story continues immediately after the events of the “Reze Arc” film. The MAPPA studio is once again responsible for the production, while Tatsuya Yoshihara is once again directing. However, it is still unclear whether the project will appear as a film or as a second season.
Hiroshi Seko as screenwriter, Kazutaka Sugiyama as character designer and Kensuke Ushio as music composer are also involved in the implementation. A date for publication is currently pending.
“Chainsaw Man” so far consists of a twelve-part series that first ran on Japanese television from October to December 2022, as well as the previously mentioned film, which premiered in September 2025.
The streaming service Crunchyroll offers both the series and the film with German and Japanese voice acting on demand.
