In a few weeks, KSM Anime will be releasing the Collector’s Edition of the anime classic “Angel’s Egg” as a 4K Bluray. In keeping with this, the publisher has now unveiled a new product image that shows the extras for the first time. We summarize.

»Angel’s Egg« is expected to be released on June 18, 2026 in a Collector’s Edition, which will contain the film in a new Ultra HD restoration with German and Japanese dubbing on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray. As an extra there is a poster and a booklet. Pre-ordering is already possible from all common retailers.
Studio DEEN was responsible for the production of the approximately 71-minute evening filler, with Mamoru Oshii (“The Fire Hunter”) directing and writing the script. Yoshitaka Amano created the character design.
The original film premiered in Japanese theaters on December 15, 1985. So far there has been no German-language publication.
