The first “Attack on Titan” season is now available again on Blu-ray

After the first season of “Attack on Titan” was no longer available on DVD or Blu-ray for a long time, publisher KSM Anime has today released a new edition into German stores. We summarize the details.

First season available again

The new Blu-ray complete box contains all 25 episodes in German and Japanese as well as the minifigure show »Flieg! Training Corps!”, a picture gallery and the clean opening and ending. You can see a product image below.

The WIT studio was responsible for producing the first season, which ran on Japanese television from April to September 2013, with Tetsurou Araki (“Death Note”) directing and Yasuko Kobayashi writing the script.

The publishing rights originally belonged to the publisher KAZÉ Anime, which has now been fully integrated into Crunchyroll. Since the license for the first season was not renewed, it has been available on ADN for a few months, while Crunchyroll continues to offer seasons 2 to 4.
