A special promo video for the 29th film was released today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Detective Conan,” celebrating the achievement of a new sales milestone. We summarize.

The film entitled “Fallen Angel of the Highway” (Japanese: “Highway no Datashi”) opened in Japan on April 10, 2026 and has now grossed more than 10.88 billion yen (approximately 59.1 million euros) with over 7.4 million tickets sold. A German theatrical release has not yet been confirmed.
The studio TMS Entertainment was once again responsible for the production of the approximately 109-minute film, with Takahiro Hasui (“YAIBA: Samurai Legend”) directing and Takahiro Ookura writing the script. The title song “The Last Dance With You”, which is featured in the video, comes from MISIA.
Crunchyroll (KAZÉ Anime) has released the first 27 films in the “Detective Conan” series in German language versions and in the original Japanese dubbing with German subtitles on DVD and Blu-ray.
