KSM Anime is bringing “All You Need Is Kill” to German cinemas


In the latest issue of the anime magazine “AnimaniA” it was announced that the publisher KSM Anime has secured the license for the anime adaptation of “All You Need Is Kill”. We summarize.

Cinema release this year

“All You Need Is Kill” is therefore expected to be shown in German cinemas later this year. However, a specific date is not yet known. A disc release will take place at a later date.

Studio 4°C was responsible for the production of the approximately 88-minute evening filler, which celebrated its premiere in Japan in January 2026, and was directed by Kenichirou Akimoto (CG director of “Children of the Sea”).

The original light novel of the same name was written by Hiroshi Sakurazaka and was first published on December 18, 2004 with illustrations by Yoshitoshi ABe. The manga adaptation is available in German through TOKYOPOP.
