The idea is to offer a clean, ready-to-share version of a shot taken on the fly, without going through a battery of sliders reserved for experts.
Reframehe would target space photos intended forApple Vision Pro by allowing you to modify the perspective after the shot, to slightly reposition your gaze in the scene. Finally, Clean Up would be reinforced to finally compete with Android: clearer removal of passers-by, poles or trash cans that ruin a vacation memory.
When will iOS 27 and its AI Photos tools arrive, and on which iPhones?
Apple must present iOS 27 on June 8, 2026, with a summer beta then a general public deployment expected in September. Bloomberg warns, however, that Extend and Reframe would not yet reach the level of quality targeted by Cupertino, which opens the door to a partial launch or deployment in a later version 27.x.
Another crucial point for French users: compatibility. Today, Apple Intelligence is limited to iPhones equipped with a chip A17 Pro or higher, such as iPhone 15 Pro and more recent generations. If Apple maintains this strategy, only these models would really benefit from Photos’ new AI tools, even if iOS 27 itself remains installed on more iPhones.
