The streaming service Disney+ has expanded its anime program to include a series and a synchro reboot and will be adding two more titles to its catalog in a few weeks. We summarize.
Four new anime additions
The synchro reboot is the second season of »Medalist«of which the first three episodes are now available on demand not only in the original Japanese language, but also in the German language version.
In addition, the VoD provider has expanded its portfolio to include the second season of »Jujutsu Kaisen« supplemented and for the May 22, 2026 both seasons of “Dorohedoro” as well as for the May 31, 2026 the action series “Dragon Ball Super” announced.

From now on: »Jujutsu Kaisen« – Season 2
The second season of »Jujutsu Kaisen« is now available in German and Japanese language versions Disney+ available.

Action:
Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto’s past returns as they are tasked with bringing Riko Amanai safely to Master Tengen. The first three episodes of the second »Medalist«season are now available with German dubbing in addition to the original sound Disney+ available. The first season is still only available in Japanese with subtitles.

May 31st: “Dragon Ball Super”
The 131-part action series “Dragon Ball Super” expands the range of Disney+ from that May 31, 2026.

Action:
Goku and his friends lead a quiet life until Beerus, the God of Destruction, shows up with Whis at Bulma’s birthday. In search of the Super Saiyan God, he demands a battle.
After Boo angers him, Earth is threatened with destruction – and Goku once again risks everything to save it.
