After today’s finale of the first season, it was announced on the official X account of “You and I Are Polar Opposites” (Japanese: “Seihantai na Kimi to Boku”) that the series will be continued with a second season. You can find a first teaser below.
Starting in July 2026
According to current plans, the second season of “You and I Are Polar Opposites” will start on July 5, 2026 on Japanese television and in the original language with German subtitles on Crunchyroll in the simulcast in this country.
The Lapin Track studio is once again responsible for the production, with Takakazu Nagatomo (episode director on “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off”) once again directing and Teruko Utsumi (“Sarazanmai”) writing the script.
The twelve-part first season, which aired from January 11th to March 29th, 2026, is already available on Crunchyroll in the original sound with subtitles. The first nine episodes are also available in German.
