Multiverse of Madness Serious Sam Edition
We are not that far from a big reference to Marvel productions with Serious Sam: Shatterverse. With this first trailer, the software seems to set the tone for us since it will be all the Sams from different universes who will have to cooperate and repair the Shatterverse, caused by the villain Tah-Um. Behavior Interactive’s production will take us on a journey through a bunch of universes that will constantly evolve, in order to complete the battles that the other Sams have never been able to complete.
On the program, we will have powerful bonuses to collect which will do maximum damage, and know that you will be able to play up to five players cooperatively in this game mixing FPS and roguelite, just that. In addition, you will navigate between various anomalies, with the possibility of collecting juicy rewards if you go very far in your runs. These will be procedurally generated, and most of the arenas have been designed by hand. Finally, we will find the arsenal and the iconic enemies of the license, which we will face in hordes.
There is no denying that we will be facing a Serious Sam in its original form, even if we remain doubtful about the aesthetics of the game, as questionable as the last ones, including the terrible Serious Sam 4. Still, the basic idea is still attractive, with obviously improvements and powerful modifiers that you can gain during your numerous runs, in order to become overpowered against the hordes of Mental and his five hideous lieutenants.
Serious Sam: Shatterverse will be released this year without further details on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
