The start of “Reborn as a Space Mercenary” has been announced + teaser


New details about the anime adaptation were announced today on the official X account of “Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship!” There is a first teaser below.

Starting in October 2026

“Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship!” will therefore run as a TV series on Japanese television from October 2026. However, a specific start date is still open.

Studio A-Cat is responsible for producing the anime, with Norihiko Nagahama (“I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger”) directing and Takamitsu Kouno writing the script. Masami Sueoka creates the character design.

The main roles of the Japanese voice cast include Makoto Furukawa (Arthur Leywin in “The Beginning After the End”) as Hiro and Konomi Inagaki (Seika in “Uglymug, Epicfighter”) as Mimi. Anna Nagase voices Elma.

The original light novel of the same name by Ryuuto has been published in Japan since July 2019 with illustrations by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima. A manga adaptation penned by Shuinichi Matsui started in November 2019 in “Isekai Comic” magazine.
