Each start of the month is a moment particularly awaited by PlayStation Plus subscribers. It is in fact during this period that Sony reveals the new games joining the service. For March, the announced selection covers several different genres, ranging from sports to RPG to multiplayer experiences. This diversity allows players to discover several universes without having to purchase the titles separately. Confirmed games can be downloaded and added to the subscribers’ library, provided they are collected before their scheduled removal on April 6.
Several games already confirmed for PlayStation Plus subscribers
This month’s official selection includes several titles that should attract the attention of players. Among them is PGA Tour 2K25, a sports simulation game dedicated to golf. Fans of this sport can find realistic courses as well as a progression system that allows them to improve their player’s performance.
Another important title in the selection is Monster Hunter Rise. This action-RPG game, released in 2021, allows players to hunt down immense creatures in a world filled with dangers. Players can form teams to face gigantic monsters and craft equipment from resources collected during hunts.
A full version of The Elder Scrolls Online included
The March selection also includes The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road. This version allows you to explore a large part of the world of Tamriel thanks to access to the different areas and the main chapters of the MMORPG developed by ZeniMax.
Players can complete numerous quests, discover new regions and participate in multiplayer activities in a universe inspired by the famous series The Elder Scrolls. To round out the selection, Sony also offers Slime Rancher 2, a lighter game in which players must manage a farm populated by colorful creatures called slimes.
Two RPGs could join the Extra and Premium tiers
Beyond the games already confirmed, some rumors point to the upcoming arrival of two major RPGs in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog. According to information relayed on social networks, Final Fantasy XVI and Dragon’s Dogma 2 could join the service.
These two titles were particularly noticed by players. Final Fantasy XVI is one of the most notable RPGs of recent years, while Dragon’s Dogma 2 received a very positive reception upon release. For the moment, Sony has not officially confirmed these additions, but the simple possibility of seeing these two games join the catalog has generated a lot of enthusiasm among subscribers.
A promising month for PlayStation subscribers
If these rumors are confirmed, the month of March could become one of the most interesting for PlayStation Plus subscribers in several years. Between the games already available and possible additions in the higher levels of the subscription, the service library would continue to be enriched with very popular titles.
However, players will have to wait for official announcements from Sony to find out if Final Fantasy XVI and Dragon’s Dogma 2 will actually join the March selection. In the meantime, subscribers can already enjoy the confirmed games and add them to their collection before the deadline set at the beginning of April.
