New arc begins
The “Divine Revolte” arc began with the sixth episode of the second “Freezing” season, which aired on February 27, 2026 on Japanese television and on Crunchyroll in simulcast. Shortly before the seventh episode, the first trailer followed, giving a foretaste of the coming developments.
The studio MADHOUSE is once again responsible for the production of the ten-part sequel, which celebrated its premiere on January 16, 2026, with Tomoya Kitagawa (storyboard on “Spy x Family”) directing.
The 28-part first season, which ran from September 2023 to March 2024 in Japan, is already available in its entirety with German and Japanese language versions on demand and is also available in a Collector’s Edition on Blu-ray.
