Design of the steelbook edition of “Re:ZERO” revealed

In a few weeks Crunchyroll will release the first season of “Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World” in the director’s cut version on Blu-ray. In keeping with this, the publisher now presented the design of the packaging.

Disc release in May 2026

According to current plans, the director’s cut version of “Re:ZERO” will be available on Blu-ray as a limited steelbook complete box from May 1, 2026. This includes all 13 episodes with German and Japanese voiceover as well as an English-language booklet with 124 pages and mini-episodes as an extra.

The Director’s Cut is a slightly revised version of the first “Re:ZERO” season, in which two episodes were combined into one 45- to 50-minute episode. The whole thing is complemented by a new final scene, which creates a seamless transition to the second season.

The anime adaptation of »Re:ZERO« currently includes three seasons, which are available on demand on Crunchyroll. A fourth season is in the works and is expected to premiere on Japanese television in April 2026.
