The countdown is on for Switch 2 players. The Resident Evil Generation Pack will no longer be available digitally on the eShop after March 31, 2026, and the price difference with the separate purchase of the games could surprise more than one.
Priced at $90, this pack includes Resident Evil VII Biohazard Gold Edition, Resident Evil Village Gold Edition and Resident Evil Requiem. An offer that will disappear from the digital store in less than a month, according to Capcom’s announcement.
Resident Evil Generation Pack removed from the eShop on March 31, 2026
Launched last October, the Resident Evil Generation Pack is aimed at Switch 2 owners. Available in digital and physical versions, it brings together three major titles from the saga for $90.
- Resident Evil VII Biohazard Gold Edition
- Resident Evil Village Gold Edition
- Resident Evil Requiem
The financial interest is immediate. Resident Evil Requiem costs $70 on its own. In other words, the Gold versions of Resident Evil VII and Resident Evil Village cost around $10 each as part of the bundle. Capcom has confirmed that the digital version will no longer be sold after March 31, 2026. The three games will remain available individually, but at very different prices.
$90 today versus $160 after March
Once the pack is removed, the unit prices will be as follows:
- 40 dollars for Resident Evil VII
- 50 dollars for Resident Evil Village
- 70 dollars for Resident Evil Requiem
That’s a total of $160 for the whole thing. The physical version of the Resident Evil Generation Pack is still offered at the same price of $90. The games are in key card format, accompanied by individual boxes and a storage case. However, one problem remains: the physical version is almost out of stock, and there is no information yet whether Capcom plans a restocking.
