Epic Games confirms next week’s free PC games with cult licenses

The Epic Games Store continues its weekly operation which allows PC players to expand their library without spending a cent. The platform has now confirmed the titles that will be offered for free from March 5. Like every week, users will have seven days to add these games to their account before the next rotation.

Last chance for current games

Before the arrival of the new selection, two titles remain available for free:

  • Boxes: Lost Fragments
  • My Night Job

The first focuses on complex puzzles and a mysterious atmosphere, while the second offers an arcade experience tinged with horror, with fights against waves of enemies in an infested mansion. These two games will leave the free offer on March 5 at 5 p.m. (French time).

Free games from March 5 to 12

From March 5, two new offers will take over:

  • Turnip Boy Robs a Bank
  • Raistlin’s Renown Pack for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms

Turnip Boy Robs a Bank: a heist like no other

Direct sequel to Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, this action roguelite focuses on absurd humor and a nervous rhythm. The player plays a criminal turnip determined to rob a bank, in a colorful and deliberately offbeat universe. Between improbable weapons, crazy enemies and dynamic progression, the title has won over fans of original independent experiences.

A premium pack for Idle Champions

For its part, the Raistlin Renown pack is mainly aimed at active players of Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms. It includes:

  • Multiple playable champions
  • Premium chests
  • Temporary bonuses
  • An exclusive pet

Even though it is not a complete game, the value of the content offered is significant for fans of strategic RPGs.

A strategy that continues to bear fruit

For several years, Epic Games has used free games as leverage to attract and retain players in the face of competition, particularly that of Steam. This policy allowed the platform:

  • To massively increase its number of users
  • To give increased visibility to independent games
  • To create an unmissable weekly meeting

The principle remains simple: simply claim the game during the indicated period to keep it permanently.

How to recover free games

  1. Log in to your Epic Games account
  2. Go to the relevant game page
  3. Click on “Get”
  4. Finalize the order at €0

Once validated, the game remains accessible without time limit. With a crazy roguelite and a substantial premium pack, the March 5 selection confirms the Epic Games Store’s desire to vary the pleasures while maintaining its weekly commitment.
