New Blu-ray box: “Attack on Titan” is released by KSM Anime

Publisher KSM Anime announced today that it has secured the license for the first season of “Attack on Titan” and is planning a new Blu-ray edition. We summarize the first details for you below.

Complete box in May 2026

The first season of “Attack on Titan” is expected to go on sale on May 21, 2026 in a new Blu-ray complete box. This includes all episodes in German and Japanese as well as the minifigure show »Flieg! Training Corps!”, a picture gallery and the opening and ending songs in the clean version.

The recommended retail price is 59.99 euros. Pre-ordering is already possible at Anime Planet, while the product is currently only listed on Amazon. We will inform you as soon as the box can be purchased there.

The WIT studio was responsible for producing the 25-episode first season, which was broadcast on Japanese television from April to September 2013, and was directed by Tetsurou Araki (“Death Note”).

The license was originally held by the publisher KAZÉ Anime (now Crunchyroll), which most recently brought a complete Blu-ray edition onto the market in August 2021. Since the rights were not subsequently renewed, the first season also disappeared from Crunchyroll’s streaming offering. This is now available at ADN.
