The sky darkens above ARC Raiders. Embark Studios is rolling out the Shrouded Sky update on February 24, 2026, one of the major segments of the roadmap announced earlier this year. New weather condition, new enemies, zone overhaul and free deck: the content marks a turning point for 2026.
This is the second of four major chapters planned in the ARC Raiders roadmap. And this time, the environment itself becomes a threat. At the center of Shrouded Sky, a card condition called Hurricane changes the way each mission is approached.
Hurricane, a new weather condition that changes everything
The Hurricane condition radically transforms the map. Severe bad weather, reduced visibility, disrupted travel and increased environmental dangers: every parameter is impacted. To support this mechanic, players will have to participate in a new community project. The objective is to collect specific materials to build a weather monitoring station. The exact details of the resources required have not yet been revealed, but the system will provide rewards for your Raider. This direct interaction with the weather adds a new strategic dimension to the clashes.
Firefly and Comet, two new ARC threats
The Firefly is a floating nightmare: an armored flying machine that sprays a jet of flame, reducing your Raider to ashes unless you move quickly or find cover.
The Comet is a spherical ARC machine that calmly patrols the surface until coming upon an unsuspecting Raider. You’d better not let him get close – once he sees you, he locks in with frightening focus before exploding with a seismic crash.
The free Raider Deck Surgeon and the new cosmetic features
Shrouded Sky also introduces a new free Raider Deck called Surgeon. Inspired by a retro medical outfit, this deck offers several cosmetic items to unlock by completing Feats.
Facial hair also appears on February 24. A growing beard will be available immediately, while a full beard will need to be unlocked through the Raider Deck Surgeon. In store, a three-day beard and a thick mustache will be offered.
Dam Battlegrounds and high loot zone
The Dam Battlegrounds map is getting a major overhaul. Embark Studios adds the Controlled Access Zone, presented as an area with high value loot. Its exact location has not yet been specified. The rest of the update includes additional cosmetic bundles, comfort improvements, and various balance adjustments. With Shrouded Sky, ARC Raiders enriches its universe and intensifies its threats from February 24, 2026.
