Released in 2011, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim continues to surprise his fans. This time, it’s neither a remaster nor a classic expansion, but a complete reinvention in a completely different format: pinball. Bethesda Pinballthe new title developed by Zen Studios, brings together the universes of Skyrim, DOOM and Fallout in a neon-colored retro experience.
A pinball machine inspired by Skyrim, DOOM and Fallout
Each table of Bethesda Pinball is a tribute to the mechanics and world of the game that it represents. For Skyrim, players can craft equipment, complete side quests, and even face Alduin. On the DOOM side, chaos reigns with sequences of multiballs and a frantic pace. As for Fallout, we find its post-apocalyptic atmosphere with faction choices and the exploration of shelters.
Deep immersion and modern features
Bethesda Pinball is not just a visual homage: the game mechanics have been designed to integrate gameplay elements characteristic of each license. The game also offers online rankings, challenges between friends, and is compatible with several platforms: Pinball FX, Pinball M, Zen Pinball World and even VR.
Price, availability and first impressions
Available now for £12.49 (around €14), the pack is accessible on the majority of gaming platforms. The first reactions from fans are enthusiastic, welcoming both the nostalgia and the originality of the concept.
