Below Zero are both coming to Switch 2 with some improvements

Switch upgrade will be free

Subnautica And Subnautica: Below Zero were both already available on the first Switch, but these new Switch 2 versions will arrive with some notable improvements.

We thus learn that in docked mode, the two games will run at 1440p/60 fps, while portable mode will lower the resolution to 1080p. The studio promises us that these versions will optimize the experience with smoother controls and better immersion. The Joy-Con of the Switch 2 will also be used and should allow more precise movements in game, even if this will probably not be day and night compared to the basic Switch version.

You can play Subnautica And Subnautica: Below Zero on your Switch 2 (via these versions) from February 17. Luckily, Unknown World won’t charge you for these versions if you already own the Switch version of the games. You will be able to benefit from a free upgrade on your Switch 2.
