Scheduled for February 5, 2026, season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will introduce no less than nine multiplayer maps. Ranked mode will also make its return, accompanied by new competitive events throughout the season. Among the upcoming cards, four come directly from previous installments of the franchise, reworked for current standards. An obvious nod to series veterans, while providing familiar ground for new players.
Cult returns from Black Ops 2 and 6
The first remastered map is Cliff Townrevisited version of “Yemen” (Black Ops 2). Dense and strategic, it alternates narrow streets and heights, ideal for 6v6 confrontations. It will arrive mid-season. The other remastered is Slumsalso taken from BO2, available from launch. It retains its iconic status and remains a safe bet for all styles of play. Five new maps to renew the gameplay
In addition to the classics, five new cards arrive, with a particular emphasis on the diversity of formats. Torment And Sake are designed for traditional 6v6 and will be available from launch. Nexus for its part, offers a more intimate and rapid experience, because it is adapted to 2v2 as well as 6v6. Its compact architecture favors explosive skirmishes. Torqueinspired by the urban battle of Los Angeles, reinforces immersion thanks to a cinematic staging. Finally, peaka sprawling 20v20 map, introduces a medieval environment with area combat, rooftop combat, and even naval infiltration.
Content designed for competition and endgame

The arrival of ranked mode, combined with rich and varied environments, could well elevate this season 2 among the best of the Black Ops era. Between perfectly calibrated nostalgia and daring original creation, Activision seems determined to breathe new life into its FPS, by focusing on what the series has always done best: nervous, balanced and memorable maps.
