Forza Horizon 6 does not seek to offer a faithful reproduction of real Japan. The assumed choice of Playground Games is based on a condensed interpretation, mixing emblematic places and freedom of movement in order to guarantee fluid gameplay.

The seasons system is making a comeback in Forza Horizon 6, and Japan lends itself perfectly to this mechanic. Each season profoundly transforms the map, both visually and sonically.
Spring features cherry blossoms, summer brings a heavier and more humid atmosphere, autumn colors the landscapes with warm tones, while winter covers the roads with snow and modifies the driving sensations. “We think players will be blown away by the open world of Japan we’ve created,” said Don Arceta, Art Director of Forza Horizon 6.

The Forza Horizon 6 map has been designed to satisfy all player profiles. Drift enthusiasts will find what they are looking for on the winding mountain roads, while speed enthusiasts will enjoy the major urban arteries and coastal routes.
Rural areas invite more contemplative exploration, while Tokyo concentrates unprecedented urban density, with its skyscrapers, port districts and narrow streets connected by clever shortcuts.
By combining dense urbanism, spectacular nature and seasonal variations, Forza Horizon 6 offers a map that becomes a real player in the gaming experience.
