The Sunday Nintendo Direct that we weren’t expecting
Nintendo has indeed decided to give us a somewhat special meeting to this new Nintendo Direct, since it will take place on a Sunday, and more precisely this Sunday, January 25 at 3 p.m.Paris time. A rather unusual date to relay information, but so be it. The event can be followed on YouTube.
This Nintendo Direct will therefore be exclusively devoted to the film Super Mario Galaxyand nothing else. So don’t expect any announcements of games or accessories, Nintendo is probably reserving that for a slightly more traditional Nintendo Direct which should take place within a few weeks. We therefore expect to discover new images of this sequel, with a trailer that is a little more substantial than the teaser we were treated to last time. And, Nintendo Direct obliges, perhaps Nintendo has other announcements to make to us regarding the casting, even if we are also waiting to see the French version of the new video to come.
As a reminder, the film Super Mario Galaxy should be released in French cinemas on April 1, 2026.
