Forza Horizon 6: official list of cars available at launch, by category

Scheduled for May 19, 2026, Forza Horizon 6 promises to be the most massive episode ever conceived in the saga. With a new map located in Japan, dynamic weather and next-gen graphics, Playground Games promises an exceptional driving experience. But the announcement that caused a particular sensation concerns the number of vehicles available at launch: more than 550 cars. Better yet, 93 models are already officially confirmed.

Impressive automotive diversity

From Italian supercars to Japanese drift cars, including racing prototypes and even retro cars, the variety of vehicles is impressive. Japan, the main setting of this new opus, clearly influences the casting: Honda, Nissan, Toyota or even Mitsubishi occupy a place of choice. Other legendary brands such as Ferrari, Aston Martin or Koenigsegg complete a catalog that will delight fans of all driving styles.

A new car ranking system

Cars in Forza Horizon 6 are divided according to a performance class system. Here is the order of the categories, from fastest to slowest:

• R – Extreme performance (track focused)
• S2 – Exceptional supercars and racing cars
• S1 – High-performance sportswomen
• A – Sports and GT
• B – Versatile and muscular
• C – Fast compacts or old rally cars
• D – Low-power vehicles, classic or exotic

How to unlock cars?

As in previous installments, cars in Forza Horizon 6 can be unlocked in several ways:

• Natural career progression (races, series, challenges)
• Purchase with credits earned in-game
• Pre-order bonus (e.g. Ferrari J50)
• Downloadable content (DLC) such as Time Attack Car Pack or theItalian Passion Car Pack
• Barn Treasure Discovery (TBD in FH6)
