Bubby 4D sounds like a false good idea, and yet, the Fabraz development team, behind Demon Turf And Demon Tideswas able to show his love of platforming and his passion for delivering seemingly simple gameplay but with quite impressive optimization and speedrunning possibilities. A know-how that we can declare as compatible with the bobcat, or not, from this spring.
What is certain is that Bubsy has not lost his self-deprecation and that good will emanates from this very special project. And in order to build the potential hype that it could suggest to those willing to give it their favor, a physical edition has been announced by Atari.
Alas, this “Pawsome Edition” collector will only be intended for Nintendo consoles. Priced at $49.99 for the Switch 2 and $39.99 for the Switch 1, it will contain a double poster, a cardboard box, a small booklet as well as a soft cover artbook. Pre-orders are on Amazon.
Bubby 4D will arrive on May 22 on PC (via Steam, Epic and GOG), PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
