If you were wondering what Yoko Taro is up to while he’s not busy laying a new Denyhere is the answer. We learn today that a new anime Evangelion is in production at Studio Khara and at CloverWorks, headed by Yoko Taro, who will handle the writing. Add to this the fact that Keiichi Okabe will be responsible for the soundtrack of this new seriesjust to show that the duo is inseparable, even when it’s not about video games.
In the director department, we find Kazuya Tsurumaki and Toko Yatabe. Hideaki Anno’s name does not appear anywhere, which may perhaps disturb early fans. Well, that and the fact thatEvangelion Maybe didn’t need a new series, given that the last few films seemed like a hell of an ending point for the saga. We imagine that Yoko Taro will not repeat too much and that a new perspective can always be interesting.
