Without fanfare, Insomniac Games announces the release date for Marvel’s Wolverine, the game will be released mid-September

Logan wanted to go solo

What a curious choice for Sony and Insomniac Games to announce the release date of Marvel’s Wolverine a few days after a State of Play where this information would have had its place. It is unclear whether communication has accelerated following a few leaks or not, but the studio and the manufacturer preferred to release this crucial information on a Tuesday like any other, and without any new supporting video. If we were bad-mouthed, we could almost think that this is a great way to divert attention following the closure of Bluepoint Games, which still remains in the throat of the PS5 community.

We knew that the game was planned for this fall, but ultimately, it will arrive a few days before, since Marvel’s Wolverine is now scheduled for September 15. An ideal period for such a game, which was pretty much the same as the first Marvel’s Spider-Man. The back-to-school juggernaut that will have to be avoided (among other publishers and studios), it will therefore be Logan, while waiting for a GTA VI still planned for the month of November, and which will undoubtedly be without much competition.
