A ride on Viewros
This new trailer makes us understand that Samus is here in very hostile territory on the planet of Viewros, the main playground of this Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. A planet that is full of different environments, sometimes taking us through the arid dunes of a desert before transporting us to the tundra with lots of wild “wolves” seeking to dismantle our armor with their fangs. The video doesn’t forget to show a little more of Samus’ bike, with the obligatory reference to the skidding ofAkira.
And of course, Nintendo is only highlighting the Switch 2 version of its game here, which undoubtedly runs infinitely better than the first Switch version of the name. You might as well bet everything on the version capable of displaying beautiful backgrounds and a solid framerate, even if we would like Nintendo to spend a little more time showing us how the game runs on its previous console.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will be available from December 4 on Switch and Switch 2.
