On the official X account of the anime adaptation of »Roll Over and Die: I Will Fight for an Ordinary Life with My Love and Cursed Sword!« it was announced today that the series will start in January 2026. A new trailer is available below.
Opening presented
“Roll Over and Die” is directed by Nobuharu Kamanaka (“Big Order”) at Studio ACGT. Mariko Kunisawa (“ORIENT”) is writing the script, while Miki Matsumoto (“Summer Time Rendering”) is creating the character design.
The opening song entitled “Liberator” that can be heard in the trailer comes from PassCode (opening of the second “As a Reincarnated Aristocrat” season). The ending song “I Need” is provided by voice actress Yuki Tanaka.
The original light novel series of the same name by kiki has been published in Japanese stores since July 2018 with illustrations by Kinta. The manga adaptation by Sunao Minakata is available through Dokico with a German translation.
