An already addictive concept… for English speakers
And since we tend to attach rogue-like mechanics to any genre and any concept, why not that of Scrabble? It’s a bit like the concept of Beyond Wordsin which you will have to create word combos to complete the levels, while taking advantage of modifiers and special bonuses, with rules that will change the dynamics of the games.
No question of a cushy Scrabble here, since we will even find around thirty bosses to face, as well as timed challenges and randomly generated games to constantly renew the interest.
The only problem in all this (not to mention the fact that the game uses artwork generated by artificial intelligence), is that only an English version has been announced for the moment, with a demo already available on Steam. Suffice to say that it is better to be comfortable with this language, while waiting to know if a French version will see the light of day.
Beyond Words should be available from the start of 2026 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch.
