New details about the series’ broadcast were announced today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch” (Japanese: “Kuroneko to Majo no Kyoushitsu”). You can find a new trailer below.
Starting in April 2026
“The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch” will therefore be broadcast on Japanese television in two consecutive courses (six months in a row) from April 12, 2026. A simulcast has not yet been announced.
The LIDENFILMS studio is responsible for the production of the fantasy series, with Naoyuki Tatsuwa (“Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World”) directing and Midori Gotou (“Smile of the Arsnotoria”) writing the script.
The opening song entitled “Cusp” is sung by ASCA (opening song of “Sword Art Online: Alicization”), while the band Spira Spica (opening song of “My Dress-Up Darling”) contributes the ending song “Tune up”.
The original manga series of the same name was written by Yousuke Kaneda and has been published in Kodansha’s “Magazine Pocket” since March 2022. The work is currently not available with a German translation.
