Launched at the start of the year, Tekken 8 continues to reinvent itself to appeal to its fans. After a successful launch but quickly marred by criticism of its season 2, Bandai Namco corrects the situation with an update rich in content and adjustments. The latter is immediately playable for holders of the Season 2 Character Pass. Other players will have to wait until October 16 to purchase it as DLC. He is also offered as an avatar in the Tekken Fight Lounge, with a temporary 75% discount.

Towards a Switch 2 version of Tekken 8?
Alongside these new features, a rumor is starting to gain momentum: a port to Nintendo Switch 2 is in the pipeline. No confirmation yet, but the game director said that while it was a technical challenge, “it could be worth it commercially.”
