The Office has a new head
It is therefore Jean-Charles Gaudechon who has been appointed as the new CEO of Remedy, a position he will take on March 1st. The person concerned is best known for having worked for years at Electronic Artsfirst as a producer before managing several free-to-play like Battlefield Heroes. After a detour to CCP Games which was bought by Pearl Abyss (Crimson Desert), he returned to EA to take care of the group’s Asian sector for more than four years.
Following this announcement, Gaudechon declared:
“ I am thrilled and honored to join Remedy at a pivotal time. The studio has a unique creative identity and a strong portfolio. My commitment is to preserve what makes it special, to offer exceptional games and to develop Remedy in a way that creates lasting value. Remedy has the vision and ambition to become a pillar of the future of the industry. We will stay close to players, earn their trust, earn their trust, and strengthen our independence in the design and publishing of our games, while continuing to collaborate closely with the partners who have supported us. I will be moving to Finland with my family and I look forward to working directly with the studio team. »
We now wish him good luck in getting back on track after a complicated year, even if the release of Control Resonant should logically allow the studio to look better than in 2025.
