An experience more inspired by the books than the series
This interview was an opportunity to discuss The Expanse: Osiris Reborn class systemwhich will initially be quite versatile by letting you experiment with several weapons. You are free to have a turret on your shoulder while being a sniper, in order to multitask, but that will only last for a while. We are made to understand that after a certain point, we will have to find the path that we like the most and stay there.
It is also a question companions, who will have a more than important place in the game. They must be seen as those of a Mass Effectthat is to say characters with their own objectives, who will react more or less well depending on the choices you make, while having their personal story that will have to be managed. We are even warned that certain choices could result in the death of one or more of our colleagues. Our character will have a twin who will also have a prominent place in the story.
As for the lifespan, Owlcat Games aims for between 30 and 40 hours of gameplay by going at a decent pace and remaining focused on the title’s main quest.. There will obviously be plenty of other things to do, with plenty of easter eggs to find for fans of the TV series and the novels, knowing that the game seems to draw its influence more from the latter, with aliens closer to the description found in the books.
No release date yet for The Expanse: Osiris Rebornplanned for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
